For New Patients
WELCOME TO QUALITY HEALTH CARE
As a new patient we welcome you to Women’s Health Care Specialists, PC.
For your first visit, please bring a list of all medications you are currently taking as well as a list of any known allergies. At your first appointment we will review your complete medical history and discuss in detail your general health as well as your specific reasons for coming to us.
Our practice providers include Dr. Roger Beyer, and nurse practitioners, Gina and Diane. The nurse practitioners work closely with Dr. Beyer and can care for most of your needs. Please let the receptionist know if you prefer to see a specific provider only. We will work hard to accommodate your request, but please know some providers work limited hours.
As our patient, you are very important and valuable to us. We are fortunate to be a small practice that allows us to individualize your care. Sometimes during an appointment, unexpected problems or concerns become apparent. We strive to help resolve these issues on the day of your appointment. This, however, can make the providers run behind. If you are the next patient, your wait could be a bit longer than anticipated. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please be assured that this delay will not affect the quality of your care. Your appointment will not be short changed because of the delay. If you have a time concern, please notify the receptionist or medical assistant upon your arrival. We will make every effort to accommodate your schedule.
We encourage you to call us if you have any questions, concerns or problems. Occasionally, your concern is too complicated to take place over the phone; in this case we will ask you to make an appointment so that we can better discuss your needs. True emergencies will be handled immediately; please let us know if you are ill and are going to the emergency room.
Regarding phone calls, we try to return phone calls as soon as possible; however we are seeing patients during the day so your call may not be returned until the end of the day. Our goal is to return all phone calls the same business day. Please assist us by giving us multiple phone numbers to reach you.
